Experience Sláinte
Sláinte, is pronounced SLAHN-chǝ with a silent “t” and is the Gaelic word for health and a common form of “cheers” in Ireland. We named our pub Sláinte! Butte America Pub to give an Irish cheers to our beloved city.
We want our pub to be inviting and lively with our core concept all about craft. When we say craft, we mean in one word – quality. Our goal is to not only have a quality atmosphere and setting, but to have craft beer, craft cocktails, and craft food. We have 40 taps of rotating craft beers and 6 wines on tap. We have over 130 additional packaged beers that you can enjoy in the pub or take with you. Bring in your own growler, or grab one of the two sizes from us and take your favorite tap beer with you!
We feature a wide array of classic cocktails as well as our seasonal cocktails, always complete with a featured Harry Potter inspired cocktail. We have a select wine list and a rotating menu of pub food ranging from simple popcorn, chips & salsa, or pistachios to more hearty options like our variety of panini sliders, pastrami on rye, BLT or our popular charcuterie boards. Meet the Owners
Hi! We’re Mike and Mallory Potts. We were both born and raised in Montana and we moved to Butte in 2012. We easily fell in love with the community and chose to start our family here. Mallory works full time as an elementary teacher and Mike recently left his environmental engineering career to focus on Sláinte, which we originally opened in 2017.
Sláinte has been a passion project from the start and we strive to use our business as an opportunity to give back to the community that has become our home. This includes We Care Wednesdays and Pint Nights where we donate items and proceeds to local charities, clubs, and organizations. Our two children, Pearl and Ryder, keep us busy and inspired us to create a family-friendly atmosphere at the bar. Everyday from when we open until 8 p.m. we welcome families with young children to join us and especially enjoy the vintage arcade in the basement. We have live music every Saturday evening and from 8 p.m. until midnight, the atmosphere transforms into a lively bar vibe.
We are very proud of our community and very humbled by the support we have received in our first few years. We look forward to continuing to serve this great community and to continue to seek out and provide exciting new drinks, food, music and events.
